You’ve probably heard the term “blood clot”. The medical term for a blood clot is a thrombus (thrombosis refers to the actual presence of a clot inside a vein). March is Deep Vein Thrombosis Month, so we’re spreading the word about the dangers of undetected DVT, and what you can do to prevent it.
