Varicose Veins affect an estimated
40 million Americans every year.

What are Varicose Veins?

Veins return oxygen poor blood to your heart. When the valves that pump the blood become weak or faulty, the blood does not flow properly, resulting in veins that may appear blue, swollen, or bulging.

Fortunately, treatment options have become more advanced and effective in recent years. Our Vein Specialists combine state-of-the-art technology with decades of expertise to bring you the relief you’ve been searching for!

Our Treatment Options Include

  • Sclerotherapy uses a liquid chemical to close off the vein. Used to treat smaller varicose veins and spider veins, we perform this procedure in our offices, while you stand. This is considered more of a cosmetic procedure
  • Venous angioplasty to open obstructed veins that can result in swelling.
  • Endovenous Ablation Therapy uses lasers or radiowaves to create heat to close off the affected vein. We make a tiny cut in your skin near the vein and insert a catheter – a small tube – into the vein. A device at the tip of the tube heats up the inside of the vein and closes it off. This is one of the most common procedures we complete in our Interventional Center. It takes less than an hour and you will be able to go home in a few hours, and return to normal activities the next day!
  • Ambulatory Phlebectomy removes small varicose veins, usually those closest to your skin surface. While we numb the area, you remain awake and can go home that day.
